Bronchial intubation, also referred to as endobronchial intubation, occurs when the TT is advanced too far into the respiratory tree, entering one of the main bronchi.

Question: The TT more often enters the right main bronchus. Why?

Answer: Due to the less acute angle that the right main bronchus leaves the trachea than the left.
