Answer: Ether. It is important to have a knowledge of ether because it is still used in some parts of the world. It may be delivered through an EMO (Epstein, Macintosh, Oxford) draw-over vaporizer (not shown in the picture). Ether, however, is explosive when mixed with oxygen, and suitable precautions must be taken during its use.
