Obtain intravenous access. Put what monitoring you have available on the patient. Give the patient oxygen.

Inducing IV anaesthesia:

• Ketamine 1-2 μg/kg slowly
• Atropine 10-20 μg/kg
• Diazepam 0.1 μg/kg

Maintain anaesthesia ketamine 0.5 mg/kg intermittent boluses.

Stay with the patient throughout the procedure and monitor closely.
