Wear heavy duty gloves, apron and eye protector when cleaning or disinfecting to protect you from infective material, sharps injuries and chemical burns.

Chemicals should only be used in well-ventilated areas (such as a room with several open windows) as many chemicals form gases, which can cause respiratory problems.

Ensure equipment is cleaned as soon as possible after use.

Have a separate location for clean and used equipment – try two buckets.
